Description
Siop Llangian is a house that once included an integral shop, although the shop is now located in an added rear lean-to. The building is constructed from rubble stone and features a slate roof with close eaves and stone stacks at the ends. It is two storeys high and has a three-window range, consisting of 4-pane horned sash windows and a central 20th-century glazed door, which replaced an earlier door that had an overlight. The windows have slate sills and stone slab lintels. The southeast corner of the building is splayed, with the former shop door now blocked and also featuring a slab lintel. The south end has a small window on each floor to the left, and a larger 4-pane sash window on the ground floor to the right. The north end includes a small single-storey outbuilding that has a north end stack, a 20th-century window, and a 4-pane sash window.
At the rear, there is an earlier 20th-century lean-to shop that is pebbledashed, featuring a door and shop window on the south end.
