Description
This is a red-painted cast-iron telephone kiosk with a square plan. It features a glazed front and left side, and a matching glazed door on the right side, while the rear is blank. The glazing is set in a raised surround and consists of eight vertically arranged horizontal panels with marginal glazing bars. Above the glazing, there are translucent lettered panels beneath a shallow dome designed in the style of Sir John Soane, which has embossed crowns in lunettes. The kiosk has been modernized with updated telephone equipment.
