Description
The Poultry House at Rhandir is a single-storey building constructed from rubble stone, topped with a rough slate roof. It features a stone central stack that has a diagonally set brick shaft, adorned with five tiers of dove-holes arranged in a spiral pattern and slate shelves. The east side of the building has two small brick-arched windows and a door at each end wall, with the northern door being lower and the southern door higher.
Inside, the building contains two rooms. The southern room is fitted with tiers of poultry nesting boxes along the walls and in the northwest corner. The northern room appears to have originally served as a pig-sty.
