Description
Wern Gogas is a single-storey estate cottage built in the picturesque style, constructed from coursed rubble stonework and topped with a slate roof. The building has a 'T'-plan layout, with the main entrance featuring a part-glazed door that faces the garden and is sheltered by a timber-posted verandah that extends along the southwest gable end. A similar lean-to structure is present on the northeast side. The cottage has four-paned timber sash windows, including a canted bay window in the gabled cross wing, which is flanked by implied slit ventilators that overlook the garden. At the junction of the wing, there is a cluster of four octagonal brick chimney flues set on a panelled square base, along with an additional rendered stack at the southwest gable. On the west side, there is one 12-pane sash window, while the east side features a half-glazed Gothick door. The north side of the cottage is partly slate hung.
