Description

Nos. 1-3 Singrig is a group of three cottages built in the 17th century, designed in an H-plan layout. Constructed from pink rubble stone with slate roofs, the cottages feature two clustered four-shaft brick stacks on the ridge. The central cottage is double-fronted, flanked by crosswings at each end that include large side wall porches. The cottages are one and a half storeys tall and have renewed casement windows with slate slab heads and slate sills. The central cottage has two stone dormer gables with pairs of casement windows, while the ground floor features triple casements and a central door set within a 20th-century gabled porch. Each crosswing has triple casements on both floors, and the side walls are adorned with large stone gabled porches that have arched entries.
