Description
Bron Edda is a single-storey, two-window cottage built from rough-dressed slate-stone blocks and topped with a slate roof. The roof features deep verges and eaves, the latter showcasing distinctive shaped corbelling at the corners, with large slate slabs forming the verges. A round, projecting end chimney is located on the north gable; it has two stages with a cylindrical stack that is also two stages, narrower at the top and adorned with plain cornices. The entrance, positioned near the center, has a slightly-recessed boarded door. On either side of the door are modern leaded wooden mullioned windows with projecting slate cills. The south gable features a triangular arched-headed window with plain glazing. The interior was not inspected during the survey in February 1996.
