Description
No 12 Pencei is a late-Georgian double-fronted house built as a pair with No 11. It has 2½ storeys and a basement, constructed from large squared slate-stone blocks laid in regular courses, which are now outlined with heavy cement pointing. The house features a slate roof and a stone stack on the right side. Shared with No 11, the central entrance is raised above street level and accessed by steps that have been rebuilt in cement. The entrance has a fielded-panel door beneath a plain overlight and is flanked by 16-pane hornless sash windows. Above the door, there is a single similar window on the upper storey. To the right of the main steps, slate steps lead down to a boarded basement door.
