Description

The Compressor House is a long, single-storey rectangular building made of coursed slate rubble, aligned roughly east-west. It has a slate roof with an end stack. The building features a roughly central doorway flanked by tall window openings, although all the joinery was missing at the time of the survey.

While an inspection was not possible during the survey, it is known to contain concrete bases for a prime mover and a compressor, and the air receiving cylinder also survives.
