Description
1 Tyddyn Iolyn is a small two-storey house designed in a simple Tudor Gothic style. The exterior features painted rubblestone and a slate roof with deep overhanging verges and carved ends on the purlins. The symmetrical front of the house includes three-light, 18-paned casement windows with strong mullions and slate cills, which flank a lean-to porch that covers the central doorway. There are gabled eaves dormers with single-light casements that have single horizontal glazing bars and slate cills. The house also has prominent integral end stacks with stone bases and paired, rebated purple brick shafts topped with moulded capping. The interior was not inspected during the survey.
