Description
Felin Newydd is a house built with large squared blocks of green-grey granite rubble stone and features long slab lintels. It has a slate roof with deep eaves and stone stacks at the ends. The house is two stories high and has a three-window range of 6-pane sash windows, with the larger windows located on the ground floor. The central entrance has a part-glazed door with a plain overlight above it. The right end wall includes one window on the first floor.
At the rear, there is a very long two-story northwest wing that serves a domestic purpose, ending with a tall stone ridge stack, and includes a lofted outbuilding that continues under the same roof to the north. The domestic section features a door at the angle and a small square window with renewed glazing on the first floor. The farm range has five well-spaced square boarded loft windows. The ground floor openings are not aligned and consist of a small boarded light to the left, followed by a door, a 20th-century milking parlour addition, a broad opening with a long slab lintel that has been infilled with two windows, and another door.
