Description

Barnardo's is a two-storey building with a four-window stucco front and a slate roof. It features 12-pane sash windows on the first floor and has later shop windows at either end, with the left window being modern and having splayed entrances. There is a square-headed through 'carriageway' beside an arched opening that once had a reused 6-pane fanlight. At the time of inspection in Autumn 1987, alterations and modern extensions were under construction at the rear.
