Description
Lly's Gwynedd is a three-storey building with a three-window stucco front, dating from the 19th century. It features a slate roof, boarded eaves, and brick chimney stacks on the right end. The building has modern small pane sash windows, with the right-hand windows slightly offset. The central entrance has a segmental head and a six-panel door, which is flanked by fluted colonettes and sidelights, topped with an overall radiating fanlight. The right side of the building is slate hung, while the left side, which was part of the former Berllan Bach, is constructed from rubble and includes 12-pane sash windows. There is a single-storey rubble cross range beyond with an additional 12-pane sash window. The rear is finished in cement render and has extensions and sash windows.
At the time of inspection in Autumn 1987, the building was undergoing major alterations. Inside, the interior retains an openwell staircase with a scrolled handrail end, as well as ceiling roses in the stairwell and entrance hall.
