Description
Penrhyn Hall is a building designed in the Italianate classical style. It features a pedimented front with a three-bay single-storey vestibule that projects in line with the adjoining properties. The ground floor is constructed of snecked rubble, with a freestone plinth and dressings, and vermiculated raised quoins flanking the slightly emphasized outer bays. The center has vermiculated spandrels above twin round-arched entrances, which are adorned with attached columns, foliated capitals, and arches decorated with bobbin ornamentation. The entrances have recessed, panelled double doors. The windows in the outer bays have bracketed pedimented lintels and bracket cills, with the right window blocked and a sash window to the left. An overall dentil cornice and parapet are present, with balustrading over the outer windows and raised lettering stating "Penrhyn Hall" in the center.
The elevation behind is rendered plain, featuring an oval lunette in the pediment, which has an acroterion on the left side.
The interior has been altered due to its conversion into offices.
