Description
Williams Buildings is a tenement block that features three stories and a five-window range at the front, with two stories at the rear. It is constructed with good vernacular masonry typical of the local style and has a renewed slate roof with gable end stacks. The front elevation appears to be divided into two unequal units, consisting of two and three window ranges, and includes two doorways at the ground floor, both of which now have modern details. The windows are all modern with top opening lights, but the tall openings suggest that the original windows may have been sash types. The detailing at the rear has also been renewed, but the distinctive arrangement of doorways accessed by slate bridges from the higher ground of the terrace has been preserved.
