Description

Caprera Cottage is a likely early 18th century cottage that has been altered in the 19th and 20th centuries. It is a single storey plus attic structure with a two-window front. The building is constructed of rubble and features a slate roof, along with rubble gable parapets and a squat end chimney on the left side. There is weathercoursing present. The entrance consists of a plain modern boarded door located in the center, flanked by modern windows. Above, there are two large, high-set late 19th century triangular dormers with pebble-dashed faces and modern windows similar to those below.

Inside, there is an inglenook fireplace with a plain ingle beam and thin, crude beams on the ceiling in the ground floor room to the left.
