Description

2 St George's Terrace is part of a late 18th century to early 19th century terrace of two cottages, with mid-Victorian alterations, located in Old Barmouth, Barmouth. The building is a single storey plus attic, constructed of rubble with a slate roof. It features a gable-end stack on the left and another chimney at the junction between the two cottages, both with plain capping and weather coursing.

The left cottage has a modern recessed window to the left of a recessed part-glazed modern door. The right cottage (number 2) has a central entrance with a similar door and flanking modern 2-pane casement windows. There are three wide slate-hung triangular dormers, irregularly spaced, with one on number 1 and two on number 2, all featuring moulded bargeboards and modern windows. Adjoining number 1 on the left is a 19th-century rubble building known as Ty Bach, which has a plain gabled slate roof.
