Description

This is a circular cast-iron red letter box of standard design, located to the northeast of St. James Churchyard. It features a fluted rim leading to a shallow domed cap and has the crowned monogram of Edward VII (E VII R) on the door. The letter box was made by McDowell, Stevens and Co Ltd, based in London and Glasgow.
