Description
11 The Crescent is a Grade II listed building featuring two-window fronts with scribed render and later attics added to Nos 12 and 13. The building has slate roofs, boarded eaves, and rendered chimney stacks. The attics have casement windows, while the lower floors are adorned with 12-pane sash windows that have moulded architraves. The ground floor windows of Nos 11 and 12 are particularly notable for their Rococo plaster ornament above the lintels. The first floor has cill bands that are egg and dart moulded, complete with classical brackets for Nos 12 and 13, while the ground floor features bracket cills. The doors for Nos 11 and 13 are modern, whereas No 12 has a traditional four-panel door. There are various extensions at the rear, with the extension to No 13 being slate hung.
