Description
13 The Crescent is a two-storey, two-window building with a rendered facade. It dates to a later period, and has been extended upwards with a later attic. The roof is slate, with boarded eaves and rendered chimney stacks. The attic windows are casements, while the windows below are 12-pane sash windows with moulded architraves. The ground floor windows of numbers 11 and 12 have Rococo plasterwork over the lintels. A first-floor cill band runs across the building, moulded with egg and dart detailing and classical brackets at numbers 12 and 13; bracketed cills are also present at ground floor level. The building has modern front doors, with a four-panel door at number 12. There are various extensions to the rear, and the extension to number 13 is clad in slate.
