Description
This is a circular cast-iron red letter box of standard design. It features a fluted rim and a shallow domed cap, with a crowned GVIR monogram on the door. This particular example was made by McDowell, Stevens and Co Ltd, based in London and Falkirk. An integral postage stamp dispenser projects to the right.
