Description

This is a cast-iron pillar box of standard design located on East Parade. It features a shallow domed cap with a ribbed edge and a cylindrical body. The door of the pillar box displays the monogram of Edward VII. The plinth is marked with the maker's stamp "McDowall, Steven & Co Ltd London & Glasgow."
