Description

This is a row of three buildings forming Nos 1-4 East Parade, The Parade, Llandudno. The buildings date from the 19th century and are two windows wide, with a basement and attic level. They have slate roofs with two gabled dormers fitted with modern glazing. The eaves feature a cornice with brackets and dentils, and are slightly lower than those of the adjacent Washington Hotel.

The second floor features two-light mullion windows with rounded upper corners. The left-hand side of the first floor has a three-light bay window that is canted and descends to the basement level. The right-hand side of the first floor has a two-light window with pilasters and a columned mullion. A flight of steps, flanked by a stuccoed balustrade, leads to the doorway, which is sheltered by a shallow canopy supported by brackets and has a modern door. Modern glazing is present on the front of Nos 1 and 2.
