Description

The pigsty and outside kitchen at Pen yr allt Isaf are constructed from rubble and feature machine-cut slate roofs. The outside kitchen is situated on the left and has a chimney on its upper gable end. The front wall of the kitchen has been opened out, possibly for later use as a cartshed. The pigsty is built as a lean-to against the rear wall and has walled yards in front, which are divided into two unequal pens. The smaller pen is on the left, while the larger pen on the right includes a slate-lined feeding chute and trough in the front wall.
