Description

The farm outbuilding at Penychain is constructed of stone and features a slate roof. It is positioned on an east-west axis directly behind the farmhouse, with a narrow path separating it from the southern range, leading to the farmyard. This building was used for preparing and storing animal food, serving the pigsties located on the northern side. It has a central framed and boarded door with paned windows on either side, and all openings are topped with slate lintels. There is a gable end stack, and at the western end, a wall with an iron slat gate opens into the farmyard.
