Description
Nant y Felin is a free-style house that features neo-vernacular details. It has a roughcast render with ashlar dressings and a slate roof adorned with red tiled crestings. The house is two storeys high with an axial and end wall stacks. The main range has three windows and a higher rear wing. The entrance is located towards the rear on the left side elevation. The main front faces south and is symmetrical, showcasing full-height canted bay windows with hipped roofs on either side. These bay windows include stone mullioned and transomed windows with leaded upper panes on the ground floor, and mullioned windows on the first floor. At ground level, the bay windows are connected by a three-bay verandah, supported by turned wooden braced posts and topped with a slate roof. There is a four-light mullioned and transomed window beneath the verandah, along with a mullioned window on the first floor beneath a wide dormer gable. The higher rear wing has similar window styles and features a dormer window facing east in a gambrel roof.
