Description

The gates, wall, and railings at Capel Seion are part of the original layout and design of the chapel, which was built in 1895. The wall along the street front is roughcast rendered and serves as a plinth, featuring a series of piers between lengths of spear head cast iron railings. The gate piers on the left and the terminal pier on the right are also roughcast and topped with pyramidal copings, each having recessed round-arched panels. The cast iron gates include roundels in the lower section and spear head finials on the upper bars. A plain roughcast rendered wall with segmental copings extends to the left, returning to the corner of the chapel.
