Description
Tan-yr-allt Lodge is a 1½-storey picturesque lodge built from roughly squared blocks of quarried stone laid in regular courses, topped with a slate roof that features added skylights and barge boards with blind fretwork, along with a central stone stack. The front of the building is asymmetrical with gables and has outshuts that are slightly set back on each side, all under a continuous roof line. The entrance is located on the left side and features a replacement glazed door. In the center, there is a 3-light wood-framed mullioned and transomed window that includes casements, topped by an unmoulded slate hood. The upper storey also has a 3-light window with a similar hood. On the right side, there is a 2-light window with Gothic arched glazing bars. The right side wall includes a 3-light casement window, while the left side wall has a small replacement window and a 1-storey projection at the rear, which contains a boarded door and a 2-light small-pane casement window to its left. The building has not been inspected.
