Description
Tremadog Manufactory is a five-storey mill built from coursed rubble stone in large quarried blocks, topped with a shallow hipped roof made of corrugated metal and featuring stone end stacks. The openings in the building have wedge lintels and are mostly boarded over, except for the upper left-hand window, which is partially blocked. On the lower storey, there are four doorways and a window at the right end. The right end wall shows the shadow and stub wall of a former gabled projection. The left side wall has two windows on the third, fourth, and fifth storeys, which are similar to those at the front but smaller. The rear of the building is only three storeys high due to a higher ground level. In the central bay, there are double boarded doors beneath a now boarded-up overlight, which has been heightened from its original opening and features a timber lintel. To the left of this are a recessed boarded door with a window and a window in the left end bay. To the right of the centre, there is a window that has been inserted into an original but blocked double doorway, and further to the right is another similar blocked doorway in the right end bay. The building was not accessible at the time of the survey.
