Description

Ivy Cottage is a double-fronted, one-and-a-half storey house. It appears to date from the 18th century, though it has been rendered with pebble-dash walls over stone. The roof is slate, and a shared roughcast chimney stack is located on the right-hand side. The windows are replacement four-pane horned sash windows set within smooth-rendered surrounds, and include raked half dormers in the roof. The central entrance has a replacement half-glazed door. A rear outshut, built against a steep bank, has a boarded door in its side wall. The building was not inspected.
