Description
Llwyn Coed is a farmhouse built in a simple Georgian vernacular style, which was popular among the Newborough Estate for its farmhouses in the second half of the 19th century. The building is two storeys high with a slightly projecting gable on the left, creating a basic L-plan. It features pebbledashed rubblestone walls and a slate roof with reddish brown brick stacks.
The front gable has a 9-paned sash window on the first floor and a tripartite sash window on the ground floor, with the main light consisting of 12 panes. The main range includes a 12-paned sash window on the ground floor and a lean-to porch on the left side, where it meets the gable. The inner door is boarded. On the first floor of the gable end, there are 9-paned sashes, with a tall integral stack positioned between them, featuring stepped capping. There is a similar ridge stack to the left, aligned with the porch, and a short external stack on the left return of the gable.
The interior was not inspected during the survey conducted in May 1999.
