Description
Dinas Farmhouse is a small two-storey farmhouse built in a simple vernacular revival style, presenting an L-plan to the road. The sides and rear are constructed of uncoursed rubblestone, while the front features regularly coursed and dressed blocks with slate-stone voussoirs. It has a large slate roof with deep overhanging verges and carved purlin ends.
The front of the house has a gable that projects to the left, which includes a three-light window on the ground floor and a two-light window directly above, both with slightly cambered heads and slate cills. There is a similar three-light window on the main range to the right of a lean-to timber porch that is situated at the angle with the gable. A prominent stepped and rendered integral end stack is located to the right of the main range, and there is a similar ridge stack towards the back of the gabled range, which is hipped to the rear, with another stack positioned behind it. The left return of the gabled range has a two-light window on each floor towards the back. The interior was not inspected at the time of the survey.
