Description
Lon Goch is a two-storey, double-fronted cottage dating from the 19th century. It is constructed of rendered stone and topped with a slate roof. The cottage features end stacks, which have plain oversailing courses and water tabling at their bases.
On the ground floor, there is an off-centre gabled porch with a batten door, flanked on either side by 12-pane hornless sash windows. Above, at the first floor level, are two corresponding 9-pane sash windows. All windows have thin slate sills and flat heads. There is a rendered lean-to structure, which was formerly a cow shed, at the south gable end. The rear gable wing has a south-facing 20th-century porch, and the adjoining west front features a small 4-pane sash window with horns on the ground floor, along with a tiny single-pane stair light in the centre of the upper wall.
Inside, there is a passage leading to the central stair at the back of the cottage, with a kitchen/living room opening off to the left and a parlour to the right.
