Description

Laurel Cottage is a two-storey, double-fronted cottage constructed of rubble stone, which is painted white. It features a slate roof with stone stacks at each end. The front of the cottage has openings that are offset to the left, with 19th-century stone lintels and sills. The lower storey contains 12-pane hornless sash windows, while the upper storey has 19th-century small-pane windows that include top-hung casements. The central entrance consists of a four-panel door topped by a three-pane overlight. A lean-to was added to the rear of the cottage in the 1930s.

This is a two-unit cottage, with the main room on the right side featuring a semi-circular stone staircase to the left of the fireplace and two thin cross-beams.
