Description

Bridge End Cottage is a two-storey cottage built of rubble sandstone, featuring larger quoins. The right angle is rounded where it meets Mill Lane. It has a slate roof with stone stacks on both the right and left sides. The front of the cottage has two windows that are offset to the right, with openings under segmental heads; the lower storey has large voussoirs and the upper storey has smaller ones. The windows are 9-pane Breconshire style, and there is a boarded door. In front of the cottage, there are good 19th-century spearhead railings, believed to have been made by the blacksmith John Owen, set on a stone dwarf wall that curves to the left and includes a central gate.
