Description
South Pier is a masonry structure that extends approximately 100 meters north from the harbour. It is built with large squared masonry blocks. On the northwest side, there is a square projection, and the pier widens at the southwest angle, which was previously the location of a dry dock. There are stone stairs leading down to the water level, and a sloping revetted wall on the seaward (east) side. Above the beach, there is a stone wall that defines the rock zone.
