Description

The pillbox near Skinner's Monument is a circular structure built with grey rubble and some brick on concrete foundations. The top of the wall features rubble set on end, creating the appearance of a folly or garden architecture. It has a square-headed doorway and two tiers of loop openings, topped with a concrete roof. Additionally, there is a detached curving screen wall that protects the entrance doorway.
