Description

The Clock Turret in Station Approach is a Grade II listed structure. Each side features a clock face with Roman numerals, set within an aedicule, and the clock was made by Joyce of Whitchurch. Below the clock face are ribands, and the turret is topped with an urn finial on a pyramidal roof. The lower stage of the turret has Ionic columns at the corners that support a moulded cornice. There are plaques with swan-necked pediments and inscriptions. The base has a panelled plinth and a small doorway on the south side.
