Description
This is a two-storey office and stores building constructed from grey-green rubble with pale dressings and slate roofs featuring cut-down chimney stacks. The building has projecting eaves and brackets on the bargeboards. It faces the harbour and has an irregular arrangement of ten windows on the top floor, which are 12-pane sash windows, alongside narrow 7-pane windows to the left. The ground floor features fixed lights with arched voussoir heads. In the center, there is a segmental entrance to the stores, which is covered by a deep hooded canopy with serrated valences, and an offset lean-to on the left side with two windows.
The left gable end is rendered and includes an arched louvred ventilator near the apex, a central arched window with a smaller window below it, and two first-floor windows. There is also one ground floor window to the left, similar to the narrow windows on the front. The right gable has two first-floor windows. To the right, there is a lean-to extension featuring arched openings and some original iron windows with a central hinged casement. The interior is reported to retain a boardroom.
