Description

The Beaumaris War Memorial is an inter-war structure featuring a tall, tapering Celtic cross set on a battered base and stepped plinth. On the west side, which faces the church, there are weathered panels in low relief that depict the archangel Michael and Christ in blessing. Below these panels is a memorial inscription dedicated to those who died in the 1914-18 war. The rear of the memorial displays a cross in bolder relief. Additionally, the base includes added panels made of polished granite that list the names of those who died in the 1939-45 war.
