Description

The railway viaduct north of Malltraeth is a structure featuring 19 low spans, each designed as a voussoir arch. It is constructed from rusticated limestone masonry arranged in diminishing courses. The viaduct has a plain dressed parapet that sits above a stressed cornice. Each arch has been fitted with internal concrete structural linings.
