Description

The Pontsarn Railway Viaduct is a significant railway structure featuring seven arches. It is constructed with abutments, tall slender piers, and parapets made from coursed irregular-sized rock-faced limestone blocks. Each of the seven segmental arches is formed with limestone voussoirs. The piers are designed with a projecting impost band and a projecting string course located below the parapets. The viaduct spans a straight line of about 138 meters and reaches a maximum height of approximately 28 meters.
