Description
Pont Marquis is a road bridge that crosses the river and marsh drainage channels. It features a single wide span over the river, flanked by paired flood arches, and has an additional flood arch to the north. The bridge is built from roughly dressed masonry arranged in approximate courses, with a rubble parapet added over a slightly advanced string course. Each span consists of a voussoir arch with a slightly stressed keystone.
