Description
Trefeilir is a three-storey building from the 18th century, featuring a six-window front on the south side and a modern three-window gabled wing to the east. The roof has been renewed with slates. There are hipped dormers on the second floor, located on each side of the central gable, which has moulded coping and restored finials at both the apex and the bases. The exterior is made of coursed dressed limestone, and the flat heads of the windows include a central voussoir. The first-floor windows are near flush frame sash windows with glazing bars, while the ground floor has casement windows, also with glazing bars. The ends and the wing return at right angles to the west are rendered. The building features tall chimneys with dripstones and capping.
Inside, the interior has been much altered but includes windows with deep reveals and field panelling, a restored 18th-century stair, and an early 16th-century stone fireplace located in the rear wing.
