Description
Glantraeth House is a late vernacular farmhouse that features a two-storey, three-window section on the northern side and a shorter two-storey, two-window section on the southern side, along with a single-storey, single-window addition at the southern gable end. The building is constructed from rubble masonry and has shallow, segmental brick heads above the openings. It has a slate roof with rendered brick gable stacks that have capping, while the southern addition includes sawn slate copings. The main elevation faces east and has a square-headed doorway with a rectangular fanlight. The three-window section includes a central doorway, while the two-window section has a doorway that is offset to the right. There is also a narrow doorway located slightly off-centre to the left on the rear elevation of the three-window section. The windows are slightly recessed and consist of 16-pane sashes, with modern replacements found at the rear and in the southern addition.
