Description

Treddafydd Isaf is a 2-storey, T-plan farmhouse dating from the 18th century, featuring an advanced wing at the front, offset to the left (south). A 1-storey back-kitchen has been added to create a cruciform layout. The building is constructed of rubble masonry with large boulder foundations and is finished with pebbledash rendering. It has a modern slate roof with rendered gable end stacks, and a substantial stack at the back-kitchen.

The principal elevation faces east and consists of a 2-storey, 3-window range with the wing to the left (south). The windows are arranged in a 1-2 pattern, and there is a wide doorway on the north range, positioned towards the angle with the wing. The windows are slightly recessed sashes with margin panes, and there is a top-hung casement window on the first floor of the advanced wing. The rear elevation features two small-pane sash windows on the first floor. The back-kitchen has modern windows and includes a lean-to structure against the west gable end.
