261-263 High Street, Linlithgow

261-263 High Street in Linlithgow is an early 19th-century, two-storey and attic tenement building featuring three bays, a pend, and piended dormers. The northern elevation is constructed of painted rubble and includes base and eaves courses with painted margins.

The northern entrance elevation has a central six-panelled, fanlit door, flanked by an enlarged window on the right and a standard window on the left. To the outer right, there is a pend with an iron gate. The first floor features three windows.

On the southern rear elevation, there is a two-storey projection that includes a spiral stair. The building has plate glass windows at ground level and 12-pane sash and case windows. The roof is covered with grey slate and features ashlar coped skews, harled coped stacks at the gables, and slate-hung dormers that are rounded at the angles.
