Description
The gate piers at Ardvorlich House are a significant feature of the estate, providing a modest yet formal entrance to the house. They are square-plan, constructed from squared rubble with ashlar copes, and include classical stone urns. These urns are believed to have been removed from the corners of the main 18th century house, likely during the renovations in the 1890s that extended the house. To the east, there is a low wing wall with ashlar coping, while to the west, a small handgate is integrated into the continuation of the parapets of the nearby bridge.
