Description

This mid-19th century bridge carries South Avenue over the Endrick Water. It features a cast-iron girder design supported by ashlar terminal piers topped with pyramidal caps. The bridge is flanked by ashlar boundary walls that have saddleback coping. It includes a bowed Double Warren truss and a semicircular arch.
