Description
This is an early 19th century bridge featuring a single segmental arch. It carries one of the estate's drives from southeast to northwest across the Doghouse Burn. The bridge is constructed of droved ashlar and has a convex-coped parapet that ends with short swept wing walls with scrolled ends. It is a part of the landscape development of the Buchanan Castle estate, which is included in the Inventory of Gardens and Designed Landscapes in Scotland.
