Description
Loch Lomond And Trossachs National Park Planning Authority
An early 19th century bridge with a single segmental arch, carrying one of the drives of the estate SE-NW across the Mill Burn, giving access to the walled garden (demolished). It is built of droved ashlar with a convex-coped parapet which terminates at each end with short swept wing walls with scrolled ends. The bridge is part of the landscape development of Buchanan Castle estate. The policies of Buchanan Castle are included in the Inventory of Gardens and Designed Landscapes in Scotland (Vol. 4, 291).
