Description
This is an early 19th century bridge featuring a single segmental arch. It carries one of the estate's drives from southeast to northwest across the Mill Burn, providing access to a now-demolished walled garden. The bridge is constructed from droved ashlar and has a convex-coped parapet that ends at each side with short swept wing walls that have scrolled ends. This bridge is part of the landscape development of the Buchanan Castle estate, which is noted in the Inventory of Gardens and Designed Landscapes in Scotland.
